The Grega GN-1 Aircamper was a light aircraft developed in the United States in the early 1960s, originally as a personal project of the designer, but later marketed as plans for residential construction. John W. Grega initially set out to create a modernized version of the Pietenpol Air Camper using structural components from a Piper Cub, but incorporating a new fuselage design based on the original Pietenpol. Two wings were designed, one based on the Cub wing, and another as a modernized version of the Pietenpol wing - Day 1 Watts Bridge Airfield Festival of Flight 'The Vintage Experience' 2010. It first appeared in the 1950s and could be built with a choice of wooden or tubular steel body construction. It was usually fitted with a more modern 48 kw (65 hp) Continental A658 engine, although engines up to 75 kw (100 hp) could be installed.

The aircraft was designed by John W Grega and was introduced to the market in 1954, plans are available from the designer in Bedford, Ohio. More than 3,000 sets of plans are known to have been delivered, and more than 500 examples were completed.
A number of GN-1 examples were built and registered in Australia, including VH-KIL (c/n Q22), VH-EIG (c/n Q21), VH-NHS (c/n N143), VH-SEJ (c /n SE04) and VH-ARW (c/n 320-34). Another example was VH-WKA (c/n 1805) in February 2016. Others are known to have been built. A few were registered under Recreational Aviation Regulations Australia (RAA), including 19-3128 (c/n 1491).
The GN-1 had slightly higher performance than its predecessor, with a maximum sea level speed of 185 km/h (115 mph), a maximum sea level cruise speed of 145 km/h (90 mph) and a maximum fuel range of 576 km (358 miles ).
