The precise technique is to cut the puka using the legendary and busy single point cutting technique. A precision cut acceptance process requires a single cut to make 120 unique cuts to accurately address all drills. A precision cut provides identical grains that are less than 0.0001” different from each other because they are cut with the same cut.
Glock 19 Gen 4 Review
"Knob" barrels and standard "cut" rifles cannot achieve this kind of repeat accuracy because of normal tool wear and tolerances in tooling. "A precision cut" barrels consistently maintain good concentricity with proper breaching to the bore. The combination of the two technologies provides the necessary barrels with tight tolerances and realistic adjustments on all characteristics of the bore and chamber. All in the range have equal performance accuracy.
